MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
MATEO BEACH RESORT – Situated along rough and winding road at Sitio Guimpingan. Tabugon, only 5 kilometers away from Poblacion the place boast with long fine white and clear blue waters. It has a comfortable cottages and amenities that anyone can surely enjoy.
SANTA FE TRAIL – Visitors will surely love to try the mountains zigzag road leading to Santa Fe where one can see the beautiful Tablas Strait, Looc Bay the neigbhoring island of Panay, San Jose and Boracay Island. An excellent place for strolling and sight seeing.
CANYAYO BEACH – It is located at Barangay Canyayo that is 4 kilometers away from the Poblacion. This beach is a combination of white sands and crushed corals. Its ocean floor is of pebbles and drops abruptly.
JAPAR ISLET – Located off coast of Barangay Guinbirayan. It is a small islet dotted with golden-hued sandy beaches. An excellent place to rest because the sea is generally calm the whole year and considered the richest ground in the province.
ECONOMIC PROFILE
Agricultural continued to be the most important sector in the municipality. This sector comprises the sub-sectors namely: crops livestock, poultry and fishing. Crops like rice, corn, mango, cassava, banana, sweet yam and coconut are raised by farmers. Coconut comprises the largest share of the agricultural area of the municipality and is dominantly grown in all barangays.

PLANE TRIP FROM MANILA-TABLAS AIRPORT
Located in the western coast of Tablas, this hilly, coastal resort town is less than an hour drive from the Tugdan provincial airport after an hour travel from Manila. Effective February 2nd 2004, Flight DG605 of South East Asian Airlines will depart Manila Domestic Airport at exactly 1045 and ETA is 1145 in Tugdan airport in Alcantara, Tablas Island. The plane Flight DG606 flies back to Manila at exactly 1205 and ETA is 1305 in Manila Domestic Airport in Pasay City, in the afternoon of the same day. MANILA - CATICLAN AIRPORT-BORACAY-STA FE
From Manila Domestic Airport you can take Fokker plane (Asian Spirit or SEAir), which takes 40 minutes to Caticlan, Aklan, a 5 minutes tricycle ride will take you to the port of Caticlan.Then a daily trip pumboat (approx. 1 hour pumpboat journey) to Sta. Fe in Tablas Island.
MANILA-ODIONGAN
For those who take the leisurely 10 hour sea trip of MV Virgin Mary of MBRS Lines from Manila's Pier 8 to Odiongan port, which regulary departs every Monday and Friday at 5:00 PM, a 2 hours jeepney ride through lush farmland brings you to Santa Fe.
Or take the Mary the Queen also of MBRS Lines at Pier 8, which departs every Wednesday at 5:00 PM. 10 hours travel will take you directly to the port of Odiongan.
BATANGAS-ODIONGAN
Take Viva Shipping, which departs every Wednesday and Friday and Sunday at 4:00 PM. An 8 hours travel will take you directly to the port of Odiongan Or Montenegro Lines every Sunday and Tuesday at 5:00 PM a Public Utility Jeep station in the Harbor terminal will bring you to Santa Fe for 2 hours drive.
BATANGAS-ODIONGAN
Take Princess Colleen every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 PM. An 8 hours travel will take you directly to the port of Odiongan. Again, a Utility Jeep will bring you to Santa Fe for 2 hours drive.
